Zelda had her first litter of puppies in August 2022,. All puppies from this litter are currently sold. If you are interested in purchasing a livestock guard dog please contact us. We will only be breeding this year if there is enough interest in a puppy. All of our puppies have health checks and proper veterinary care which includes physical exams, worming, and puppy shots.
Our Great Pyrenees dogs come from working lines and have been raised to protect our herds. We currently have one breeding pair. Our female, Zelda, is AKC registered and our male, Falkor, is unregistered. We provide advice and guidance on training to anyone that purchases a livestock guard dog from us. Our own Rupert Ranch veterinarian ensures the proper health and well being for our dogs. Puppies are ready for new homes no sooner than 8 weeks old. We focus heavily on nutrition, socialization, and training to produce the best quality animals possible. If you are interested in the Great Pyrenees breed, click the button to join our reservation list.
Breed: AKC Registered Great Pyrenees
Registered Name: Spotty Creek Zelda
Weight: 94 lbs.
Birth date: Jan, 8th 2021
Zelda joined our farm as a puppy at the end of January 2021. She comes from working lines, is AKC registered, and has been a great addition to our pack. She is your typical Pyrenees, very independent, with a slight defiant playfulness. Nonetheless, she has taken to guarding our animals very well and protects not only our goats but our flock as well. She is very active at night and makes sure that all predators around know that she is there. We are very excited for her first litter in 2022.
Breed: Great Pyrenees
Name: Falkor
Weight: 120 lbs.
Birth date: Dec, 3th 2020
Falkor joined our farm as a puppy at the beginning of January 2021. He comes from working lines bred by Dreamy Acres Farm out of Marshville, NC. Falkor is a massive dog and living up to his namesake from the movie The Never Ending Story. He is more atypical of the Pyrenees breed and is very people oriented. He listens very well and was very easy to train. He takes verbal correction easily, and tries his best to get love and attention whenever he can. Despite that, he has been a great herd and flock protector. He is very active at night and day making sure everyone and everything around knows he is the big dog on the farm.
Just a few pics of the other little monsters running around the farm!
